The BRM engine, block and cylinder head and carbs went to Racing Fabrications for a complete rebuild and unleaded conversion.

The work was carried out by George Wadsworth at Racing Fabrications at Bury St Edmonds.
 The engine was returned with a dyno sheet - it is producing some really healthy figures.
The rebuild involved new pistons, 'unleaded' valve seats and a new crank - a lighter, steel racing crank - the original steel crank is now for sale.

Whilst the engine was being rebuilt I refurbished the BRM Cam cover - with the correct shade of orange paint
